The final grade of preparatory and secondary education is not important.

What teaching methods are used at SIA?

The Syrian International Academy is proud of the scientific standards it adopts and the excellent curricula it offers to its students, which include the following:

Written materials: such as text books (in paper and electronic forms) and supporting materials that guide the study process and ensure the most efficient use of direct teaching methods.

Audiovisual materials: such as audiovisual CDs with content that supports the written (printed) materials without being a substitute for it.

Practical training, which constitutes more than 75% of the educational process.

Interactive materials: these use internet technologies to deliver the content directly or interactively by e-mail to ensure that the student receives the highest level of education available in our modern world.

What is SIA’s admission policy?

Although there is no percentage or rate required in the secondary school certificate or the university diploma/degree for admission to SIA, the number of accepted students is determined according to SIA’s capacities.

SIA constantly seeks to meet the needs of all its students in Syria and abroad.

SIA studies applications very carefully and informs the student in person of the outcome. If a student were accepted, s/he is directed through the admission procedures.

What about accreditation and attestation?

The Syrian International Academy is an institution duly licensed by the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic. It thus enjoys full and necessary recognition in Syria and all countries that enjoy diplomatic relations with the Syrian government.

The attestation system in other countries (outside Syria):

Each country has its own system of amendment which is often equivalent to a written or oral exam. This is considered to be one of the specificities of a particular country.

The student’s compliance with the requirements of the amendment exams is the personal responsibility of the student since SIA cannot intervene outside the borders of Syria.
